With clarity and care:
Our assessments cover autism, ADHD, cognitive and other mental health concerns, and help you understand the best next steps.
At Humanity Health Kids, our paediatric psychologists support children and young people through a range of mental health, emotional, behavioural and developmental challenges. We use therapeutic techniques and assessments suited to young minds, with a focus on cognitive development, social growth, emotional wellbeing and building resilience and self-esteem.
We believe children do best when the people around them work together. That’s why our psychologists collaborate with families, schools and other providers to support coordinated care.
Humanity Health Kids is committed to helping children and young people access the psychological support they need, with services shaped around your child’s goals and everyday life.
At Humanity Health Kids, our team of psychologists, counsellors and other professionals are here to support your child’s mental and emotional health.
If your child is facing social challenges, behavioural difficulties or developmental concerns, our paediatric psychologists can help. Every child is unique, so we build assessment and therapy plans around their specific needs. Our services range from individual sessions to group programs that support social skills and emotional regulation.
We offer support in the community, at school, at home or in clinic, so families can access help in a way that suits them. Our goal is to create a nurturing environment where children can build healthy coping skills and thrive.

Developing strategies to manage and improve behaviours through behaviour support, including positive behaviour support plans and PBSP training.
Our behaviour support practitioners work closely with your family to understand what’s behind your child’s behaviour, not just what the behaviour looks like. From there, we build a positive behaviour support plan suited to your child, focusing on practical strategies that support their wellbeing and independence.
At Humanity Health Kids we help children build healthy social skills, emotional regulation and resilience. This can include learning to recognise and manage big feelings, navigate friendships and cope with everyday challenges.
We work at your child’s own pace, building on small wins over time, so these skills carry over into everyday life at home, at school and in the community.
Our psychologists support children facing academic stress, school refusal, bullying or difficulties with social skills. We work with your child to understand what’s making school feel hard, and build practical strategies to help them feel more confident and supported.
Where helpful, we also work alongside teachers and school staff, so the support your child receives at school and in therapy lines up.
Our psychologists support children experiencing anxiety, depression, aggression or defiant behaviour. We work with your child to understand what’s driving these feelings or behaviours, and build practical strategies to help them feel calmer and more in control.
We also work alongside families, so you have strategies to support your child at home as well as in sessions.
Our psychologists provide a safe and supportive space for children who have experienced trauma, abuse or neglect. We work at your child’s pace, using therapeutic approaches suited to their age and experiences, to help them feel safe and begin to process what they’ve been through.
We also support families throughout this process, so you know how to help your child feel secure at home as well as in therapy.
Our psychologists help children and families navigate change, such as divorce, bereavement or the arrival of a new sibling. We support your child to understand and express their feelings, while helping the whole family adjust during a time of change.
We also work with parents and carers, sharing strategies to support your child at home as these changes settle into everyday life.
Our psychologists use a range of therapeutic approaches to support your child’s mental health, chosen to suit their age, needs and personality. This might include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to help your child understand and manage their thoughts and feelings, play therapy to work through emotions in a way that feels natural for younger children, or family therapy to support the whole family together.
We’ll talk with you about which approach might suit your child best, and adjust our approach as they grow and their needs change.
Our psychologists provide assessment and diagnostic support for conditions such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and intellectual and learning disabilities.
We take the time to understand your child’s individual strengths and challenges, using thorough assessment methods suited to their age and needs.
A clear diagnosis can help your family access the right support and plan the next steps with confidence, whether that’s through therapy, school support or NDIS funding.
