Physiotherapy
for Kids

Our physiotherapists help your child build strength, movement and independence, through therapy that’s fun and tailored to their needs.

Physiotherapy services for children: NDIS and other programs

Our paediatric physiotherapists help your child build strength, movement and confidence in everyday activities. This can include play based exercises, movement games and hands on techniques such as stretching and guided movement.

We start with a thorough assessment of your child’s movement, strength and coordination, along with how they manage everyday activities like play, school and getting around. From there, we create a movement plan suited to your child, which might focus on building strength, improving balance, coordination or mobility.

We align our fees with the NDIS price guide, so there are no additional gap fees for our clients.

Physiotherapy therapy, built around your child's goals and needs

Our approach to physiotherapy for kids is holistic and child-centred. We look at each child’s individual circumstances and preferences to build physiotherapy strategies suited to their goals and challenges.

Our physiotherapists work closely with children and their families, supporting progress in everyday movement, strength, coordination and physical confidence.

How our physiotherapists support your child's development

Gross motor skills

At Humanity Health Kids we help children build gross motor skills for everyday movement, like crawling, walking, running, jumping and climbing.
These skills support your child’s independence and confidence in play, at school and in the community. We work at your child’s own pace, building on small wins over time.

Balance and coordination

Balance and coordination help your child move with confidence, whether they’re riding a bike, kicking a ball or crossing uneven ground.

At Humanity Health Kids we use activities your child will find engaging, so practice feels like play rather than a chore.

Strength and endurance

Some children need extra support to build the strength and stamina needed for everyday activities, like sitting upright, climbing stairs or keeping up with peers.

We create movement programs suited to your child’s needs, helping them build strength gradually and safely.

Mobility aids and equipment

Some children benefit from mobility aids or equipment, like walkers, orthotics or specialised seating.

At Humanity Health Kids we help identify the right equipment for your child’s needs, and support your family in using it day to day. The right equipment can make a real difference to a child’s comfort and independence.

Posture and movement pattern

We help children build stronger posture and movement patterns, supporting comfort and function throughout the day.

This might include exercises to support sitting, standing or walking, depending on your child’s needs.

Participation in play, sport and school

We support children to build the physical skills needed to take part in play, sport and school activities alongside their peers.

This might include working on running, jumping, throwing or catching, depending on what matters to your child and your family.

Parent support and strategies

At Humanity Health Kids we work alongside parents, sharing practical techniques and strategies to support your child’s movement and development at home.
This helps skills learned in therapy carry over into everyday life. You know your child best, so we build strategies around what works for your family.
